O, Silver Moon, up there in the dark night sky

So round ... so perfect ... so beyond earthly ties
For, even though you are our very own moon
You are so far above us, you're beyond our loom

And the perfect placement of your round sphere
In front, and above us, makes you seem so near
And yet ... you are many thousands of miles away
Making a reach up to grab you only a fantasy today

And, yet ... it seems like this could be done so easily
For your presence there makes it seem a breeze to me
And I know you are symbolic of things attainable now
For we have landed upon you, and taken well our bows
