On this day in eighteen ninety six

A medical innovation became fixed
In the annals of history from then on ...
For it was the day x-rays were first donned

And now, here we are, at one-hundred three
Accepting radiology as part of the fee ...
For everything done when we need aid ...
From twisted ankles to tummy aches made

For this magic eye is able to pierce our skin ...
Showing all our bones, organs, and the states they're in
Thus keeping us apprised of our entire body condition
So then we know better how to keep it in tune within ...
