Morning Sunlight



Morning sunlight ... 

glances off the branches of a tree

Made even more bright

by virtue of the fact - it's all free ...



Morning sunlight ...

piercing thru eyelids almost closed

Shutting out the night

by seeping on through, as it glows



Morning sunlight ...

warming to the skin and eyelashes

As cold winds fight

... winning over the sun's flashes



Morning sunlight ...

making the day's doors open

A wonderful sight

... for beyond, lies all hoping
