Week End, Year Beginning



It's the end of the first week of a New Year

One that promises to bring us new cheer

For we are making giant strides forward ...

Becoming masters at things no longer hard



Simplicity thus becomes common-place ...

As we become adept at using our own space

Solving so much which before was a mystery

As constant effort tunes us and leaves us free



So we now emerge victorious from past hardship

Finding we've accomplished so much, in that trip 

And now we embrace all that lays before us ...

For we've been strengthened by our own trust
