It's a line I noticed a little while ago

(It made me do a double-take, but too slow)

It was an interesting line, and profound

A statement made, and good to be around



Whether it was inwardly-directed, or not

It's a thought based on exchanges, tip-top

Which so few really have in any degree ...

As most are too busy with the birds and bees
