It's a new year, a new chance

A new life-lease ... a new dance

Sun now blazes thru some dark clouds

Making bright contrasts with the crowd



There is quite a stillness with it all ...

As there was in early days of Fall

And yet, underlying that blaze in the sky

Is a question ... will there be a you and I?
