The drizzle seemed like snow

With a heaviness (it showed)

Intensifying inside and out

Words hastily thrown about



Then ... conditions escalated

Nothing entirely abated ...

Separation was in order ...

As tape ran on in recorder



Lost was apt communication

Tension overtook elation ...

A headlong rush ensued about

And later, the snow fizzled out
