A rather large tree in the yard's snapped in half

Almost as if a beaver had gnawed it around ...

Causing consideration about such a large task

As the break is about three feet off the ground



As eyes searched hard through the woods ...

Suddenly caught sight of an animal who could

For it must have stood a good two feet high ...

But then was noticed the cat fur, with a sigh ...



And they don't have teeth strong enough ...

Even though some of them can be quite tough

And certainly this cat was extremely tall ...

But no beaver was it ... and that's my call ...
