In the 40's

Coldness daunting

Weather cooled

Now winter's tools



Must be uncovered

Snow shovels, others

Gloves, scarves, caps

Lock de-icer, and that ...



Magic stick for lips chapped

Got to get some of that ...

Spray for defrosting glass

And a snowbrush and mask



Not to mention winter boots

To keep feet dry and warm

The most important loot ...

Minimizing frostbite's harm ... 



For now it's in the 40's 

And warm days, tho' courtly

Have distanced us apart

And now it's other sparks
