It's never really right ...
To make a scene to fright
Yet, some do it often ...
Even tho' they're softened
By hours on end caressed
In solid states of undress
As care and consideration
Are showered with apt patience
And reception is on fire
Even tho' the muscles tire
Becoming oversated
With feelings unstated
And then humility lacks
When all those needs are tracked
And all of that time spent
... Recedes - in sadness, bent
- Tristram
