A meatless Thanksgiving dinner became a vegetable platter

But that's okay, I guess ... really ... I mean ... what does it really matter?

As long as we are giving thanks for the food and everything else

Then a plate full of vegetables rings exactly the same bells



Sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, peas, corn and sugar snaps

All served up with gravy and baked stuffing isn't bad ...

Even though the turkey was missed just a little bit ...

All the trimmings added all the same touch without it ...



And an anticipated disaster came off without real snags

As the participants savored all the other items flagged

And a Thanksgiving Dinner sharing turned out to be alright

Even tho' there was just a little tossing and turning all night
