Flippancy is a trait not always heard ...

For some tend to just gloss over those words
And then the intention is quite immersed
In all of the other lines unrehearsed ...

If you do have some cuts you desire to make
Perhaps it's more in order to drive in stakes
For then, there's no doubt as to the intent
Because then, your entire point has its vent

And is not lost under veils of sarcasm
For you're then out there way beyond the chasm
Which some fall into when words are veiled
And then they're found to be dodging their tail
