When we come on with lightness in our step

A glint in our eye and heart and full of pep

We do it quite because we are here to say

Here is some fun and humor to start our day



Feel the purity in the soul from which it comes

And you will not feel in any way at all glum

Life can be so very wonderful if only you let it

For there's beauty and charm in the message



Which says life is full of very wonderful souls

Who treat those they meet from a different pole

One upon which a flag is flown quite freely

Which states they have lots to give and dearly



For they do so willingly and without any malice

Something they do not have within their chalice

For their lightness and humor comes from a place

Which they readily tap and do so with some haste



For being ready to express yourself with charm

Cannot be seen in any way to cause any harm

Just a way of exhibiting the fun you have inside

Which we all do - if only we peel the shell aside
